RemoteJob Staffing is seeking a remote Remote Private Funds & Investment Management Legal Counsel — AI Legal Benchmarking — LLM Alignment & Research ($90 - $180/hour) to help train and validate frontier AI systems through structured problem authoring, rubric design, and analytical output auditing from anywhere in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia.

Day-to-Day Impact

• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 2 years in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
• Working knowledge of standard M&A agreements, including LPA’s, subscription agreements, and side letters.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.

Essential Background & Expertise

• Compensation Structure:
• Compensation is task-based, meaning experts are paid per completed task that meets the project specifications. The average handling time (AHT) is approximately 3.5 hours per task, and the effective hourly rate will depend on the number of tasks completed and successfully signed off.
• Compensation Band: $90 - $180/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
